RIT Men’s Hockey in Frozen Four

Written by Annie Kwon

The men’s hockey team from Rochester Institute of Technology, a home of the NTID, is advanced to Frozen Four which is the Final Four championship at NCAA (National Collegiate Athletic Association) level in Detroit. For the first time, RIT get to play the semifinal since they entered Division 1 since 5 years ago. Everyone at RIT is very ecstatic and so is everyone in Rochester, NY. Hockey is a big deal at RIT.

RIT will face the University of Wisconsin Badgers, the six time champion, at semi-final on Thursday at 5pm Eastern Time. If RIT wins the semi-final, RIT will face either Miami University (Ohio) or Boston College for the championship on Sunday at 7pm. Make sure you go on ESPN2 for semi-final and ESPN for championship channel to see the exciting games!

I’m rooting for RIT because I’m a student of RIT. Go Tigers!
