Here are things you must not do. Don’t sacrifice your children in the fire to other gods. Don’t practice any kind of evil magic at all. Don’t use magic to try to explain the meaning of warnings in the sky or of any other signs. Don’t take part in worshiping evil powers. Don’t put a spell on anyone. Don’t get messages from those who have died. Don’t talk to the spirits of the dead. Don’t get advice from the dead.
Deuteronomy 18:10-11

The LORD your God hates it when anyone does those things.

You must be without blame in the sight of the LORD your God.
Deuteronomy 18:13

“If any person asks you to go to a place where they talk to spirits, DO NOT GO. The messages you would hear are FROM SATAN’S EVIL ANGELS. They do not come from the dead or from God” (God’s Way Lesson 9, Deaf Bible School). They actually come from evil spirits. The evil spirits work for Satan the Devil and pretend to be persons who have died. They are the ones that do not respect God. They trick you. That’s not safe. Therefore, do not trust these practices below like spirit mediums, palm readings, Tarot cards, crystal balls, Wicca, fortune tellers, witches, warlocks, clairvoyants, channelers, witch doctors, psychics or devil priests.
