Favorite Dessert

My favorite Japanese dessert is cream puffs. After watching a Japanese drama called “Absolute Boyfriend,” I became very eager to try it. The main character in the movie worked very hard to make and sell these delicious cream puffs and watching the whole process gave me an appetite. I went to Mitsuwa (a well frequented Japanese market that makes you feel like you landed somewhere in the middle of Tokyo) and found these fresh cream puffs that looked amazing. I decided to try it. It was very delicious! It’s probably the best 2 bucks I’ve ever spent. Since then, it’s become one of my most favorite desserts. Now, every time I’m at Mitsuwa, you’ll surely find me chomping down the incredible cream puffs!

It’s in Costa Mesa.

I thought Cream Puffs are from France. The Japanese people just like eating them. The Asian people loves French pasteries like my family (:

I agree with Julia. French made them first because they are in most french books. And it would be kind of awkward if Japanese had that in their Baking books. Look in every French baking food website pages, you might most likely find “cream puffs” in the search results.
