Wow! I’ve never seen anyone like this before. They are great attention grabbers. If they were still alive, I would love to meet them and take pictures with them!

One of the world’s most tallest men was John Middleton. He was 9 feet 3 inches in height! Unfortunately, I couldn’t find any of his pictures to show you because he was lived during 1578-1623.

Robert Wadlow, 8 feet 11.1 inches (1918-1940)

Confirmed tallest male and person by Guinness World Records.

Leonid Stadnyk, 8 feet 5 inches (1970-?)

Once held the Guinness title of tallest living person but refuses to be measured by the Guinness Book under new guidelines.

Don Koehler, 8 feet 2 inches (1925-1981)

Tallest in world for most of 1970s. Had 5 ft 10 in twin sister.

Zeng Jinlian, 8 feet 1.75 inches (1964-1982)

Suffered from spine curvature and could not stand at full height. Tallest person from 1981 to her death in 1982 at age 17. Confirmed by Guinness World Records as tallest female ever.

Jane Bunford, 7 feet 11 inches (1895-1922)

Former world’s tallest woman (until Zeng Jinlian) and possibly the world’s tallest person at the time of her death in April 1922 at 7 ft 7 in (231 cm), but due to a curved spine she could not stand up straight. However, if her spine had normal curvature, she would have stood 7 ft 11 in (241 cm).

Suleiman Ali Nashnush, 8 feet 0.5 inches (1943-1991)

Libyan who was the tallest basketball player.
